Morning Times, La Cruz

I try to do some kind of physical activity before it gets too hot to breathe, think, move, put shoes on swollen feet, etc., and so most mornings I join all the Mexican fitness buffs in La Cruz, of whom there are many, for a walk on the malecon that hugs the marina.

Not only is the sun still thankfully tucked away behind the mountains at 7:30 a.m., but what light there is always looks so perfect and fresh that I finally had to take a camera with me.

It's all just too pretty, at least while the sun's death rays stay mostly hidden. Never fear, I will have a post totally devoted to the heat and how much I hate it soon. It's my main talking point these days.

  2. Very pretty! But that heat, ugh. On the other hand, our main talking point up here is always the rain. Already!

  3. Hi Attila! Looks so clear and pretty. Perfect time of day to take a walk. Stay out of the heat's death rays. I, too, hate the heat. My husband, on the other hand, loves it. When I was pregnant with my son, (many moons ago) I was at my biggest during the hottest part of summer…July and August. I had him in September. My legs were always swollen, I constantly had leg cramps, back aches, etc. The heat just wiped me out. I feel for you. Does it cool down there at this time of year at all???
