Our Wedding!

We got married! It's been a little over a week since our wedding in Sayulita, and the dust has finally settled. We are back on the boat, and all of our family and friends have headed home except for our dear friend Dustin who is staying on the boat with us for a couple of weeks.

I can't say enough good things about our wedding. It was super small - just 31 people - and most of our family and friends were able to attend. The town was great, the villa was great, our awesome wedding lady Karen made sure everything got put together without me or my mom having to anything from thousands of miles away (priceless!), our friends and family members pitched in for a bunch of homemade touches, the virgin pina coladas were fantastic (so were the margaritas, I hear), the tacos were delish and the wedding itself was both terrifying and my favorite thing I've ever done so far. Vlad wrote the vows, so what do you expect?

Plus, we had a mariachi band.

And a tres leche cake with an abundance of fruit.

Honestly, we can't believe we had a wedding that was that pretty. And many thanks to everyone who made it happen!

    1. I would totally do it again next month, but maybe with more hanging out and less wedding. The wedding part was exhausting!

  5. Congrats!!! We also had a small wedding of about 30 people and it was fantastic. You had the great benefit of having it while traveling in a beautiful place.

SO happy for you two and can't wait to meet the little third. I bet 5 years ago you wouldn't have known this is where you would be right now.
