Cruising: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful

For exactly four months today we've been out on the ocean, seeing new spots in our own country and new countries altogether, all while fixing the boat, exploring every day, and most importantly trying to take photos of uncooperative chickens and massive iguanas. As I said in a previous post, we've sailed at the record-shattering speed of four miles an hour and have traveled nearly 3,000 miles, about the same distance it takes to get from New York to California. And we've been getting questions from our friends and family about how it's going. Do we love it as much as we though we would?

So I thought I'd devote the next few posts to answering the question of what we've loved and what we haven't. Vlad says to always start on a positive note, so tomorrow you get all the good stuff. And if you just can't wait until then, here's what the folks over at The Adventures of Tig and Serena had to say about their first month of cruising.
