Cruising: The Beautiful

To make up for all the "bad" stuff I talked about yesterday here are a bunch of photos from our trip that show how the good outweighs the not so nice. Every time we look at the photos we've taken, it is a reminder of how lucky we are to have done this - heat rash and all.

  1. Great photos! I felt I was out on the water. Tell me in the 2nd photo are those dark lines on the horizon land, or something in the water?

Here's some questions I bet on everyone's mind (at least mine)that may be topics for other posts (sorry I'm so curious and ask TONS of questions)...
    Knowing what you know now:
-Would have departed home when you did and taken the route you did?

-What is the most important or some of the most important items you wish you'd have brought with you from the start?

-Have you had any experience so far where you felt you or Vlad may have gotten hurt or killed?

-If you could redo one part of your journey down there what would it be and how?

-After cruising for four months, money aside, do you feel now that you Want to stay cruising longer than originally planned, shorter, or the same?

    1. Hey, Dani, I have some posts in the works that answer some of those questions, but I will put together some to answer all the others. And the dark horizons are small keys, I think.

    1. The water around Key West is beautiful. It doesn't get much better than that.

  4. Love the photos, which completely balance out the 'bads' of cruising. Poof! Bad stuff gone!
I assume the above comment is tongue in cheek and isn't meant the way it reads. I want answers to all of Dani's questions. All of us wannabees out here want all of the information possible to flesh out our dreams!

    1. Don't they?! Every time we look at them, we are sad that we can't keep doing this forever, despite the mosquitoes.

As for the above comment, I don't care if it was tongue and cheek. It wasn't very nice. I was hoping I wouldn't have to review every comment because people would act correctly, but that might not be the case.

    1. Sorry, but how am I to know these things? I thought it might have been a joke. But I couldn't tell for sure, and it's my responsibility to make sure everyone is civil in the comments section. Good to know it was a joke though!
